European Heritage Label Award

PIC Rashi has the great pleasure to announce you that, on February 25, “Rashi of Troyes, European place of remembrance” has been awarded the European Heritage label.

“Rashi of Troyes, European place of remembrance” thus joins the network of 67 sites already labelled.

Beyond an honorary distinction, the European Heritage label is a powerful vector of education, bearer of memory, driving a virtuous dynamic. It gives labelled sites the ability to go beyond their local influence, and encourages them to reinvent themselves around European values that bring us together.

President Nicolas Honoré, Director Delphine Yagüe and President of the Scientific Council Judith Kogel warmly thank the founding members (French State represented by the Prefecture of Aube, Grand Est Regional Council, Aube Departmental Council, City of Troyes, Central consistory of France), the active members of the PIC (Troyes La Champagne Tourisme, Aube en Champagne Attractivité, the “Maison Rachi”, the Rashi European University and Cultural Institute, the European Days of Jewish Culture and Heritage in France association, the Arcis-Mailly-Ramerupt Community of Municipalities, the City of Vitry-le-François) and all their partners for their involvement in this collective success!

The adventure goes on!
