Since 1960, a 17th-century building, comprising 2,000 m² of premises restored in 2016, has served as a synagogue. Alongside its role as a place of worship, since 2017 it has also been home to the ‘Maison Rachi’, a permanent exhibition designed to introduce visitors to Rashi, his history and his work, through an immersive display. Several rooms, decorated with stained-glass windows and equipped with digital displays, feature, in particular, a reconstructed medieval synagogue and prayer room, as well as a reference library. A unique venue dedicated to Rashi, open to visitors all year round, with a wide range of events and activities.
