With sites awarded the ‘European Heritage’ label
Coming in 2027 – Promoting medieval Jewish and Christian intellectual thought in Europe, in collaboration with Cluny Abbey (France).
Coming in 2027 – Development of joint projects with the Great Synagogue of Budapest (Hungary) and the city of Kaunas (Lithuania) aimed at highlighting the links between Jewish communities in Eastern and Western Europe.
Coming in 2026 – Participation in the ‘D’une langue vers l’autre’ festival organised by the Lieu d’Europe – European Quarter in Strasbourg (France).
With other European sites
Coming in 2026 – Development of joint tourist itineraries and educational resources with the SchUM sites (Worms, Mainz and Speyer – Germany).
Under consideration – Joint projects with Erfurt (Germany) focusing on the production of Hebrew manuscripts in Erfurt’s medieval scriptorium and the links with the work of Luther, who studied at the Augustinian monastery.
Involvement in European initiatives
Since 2019 – Participation of the sites in the European Days of Jewish Culture and Heritage.
