Aube en Champagne Attractivité

2026 – Design of the exhibition-exhibit ‘The Jews of Champagne at the Heart of Medieval Life’ as part of the Aube Departmental Council’s 2026 cultural year, dedicated to the history of the County of Champagne.

Since 2021 – Development of the ‘Rashi Trail’, a trail featuring monumental murals designed to highlight the history of the local towns and villages that were home to Jewish communities in the Middle Ages.

City of Troyes

2026 – Publication of a heritage brochure dedicated to Rashi as part of the ‘Ville et Pays d’art et d’histoire’ scheme, with the aim of raising awareness of his work and his place in the history of Troyes and Europe.

Coming soon – Further development of digital tools, including the enhancement of interactive visitor experiences and the creation of a virtual tour.

2025 – Contribution to the production of ‘Rashi, a rabbi in the city’, an episode of the documentary series À l’origine. Histoires, broadcast by France Télévisions.

Since 2023 – Organisation of the ‘Rashi Encounters’, cultural and academic events dedicated to Rashi’s work, legacy and the contemporary relevance of his thought.

2023 – Production of the documentary ‘What Does Rashi Say?’ by Steve Suissa.

Coming soon – Creation of the ‘Art through the Eyes of Rashi’ tour, offering an exploration of the works of sacred art housed in the region’s religious buildings, museums and libraries through Rashi’s commentary and intellectual legacy.

Since 2024 – Support for several heritage and cultural enhancement projects: the restoration of the mikveh in Châlons-en-Champagne, the enhancement of the former synagogue and Jewish cemetery in Vitry-le-François, and the creation of an interpretation centre in Dampierre.

Under consideration – Development of a project focusing on Rashi’s and the Tossafists’ le’azim (words derived from vernacular languages incorporated into Hebrew commentaries) through publications, as well as artistic and botanical trails.
